See You Over at The Late Bloomer!

late_bloomer_logoDear Friends,

This Wednesday, Diary of a Late Bloomer will reinvent itself over at The Late Bloomer Revolution.

I can hardly believe that it’s been nearly 3.5 years since Diary of a Late Bloomer launched on September 15, 2010. Wow! How quickly time flies when you’re blogging your life away! It’s been a curious, surprising, and fun ride. Thank you for being part of this extraordinary journey. It wouldn’t have been the same without you. And I’m not just saying that. I mean it from the bottom of my heart. A blog is nothing without readers. Grazie. Gracias. Merci. THANK YOU!

Many of you know that I did something crazy and left my lucrative corporate job back in September of this year. My mother is dealing with this shock-a-roo surprisingly well. I think it’s because she knows that it has always been my life dream to pursue a writing career.

As part of this dream, I am launching a new website, The Late Bloomer Revolution. I envision a community of women with an “it’s never too late” attitude coming together on the new site. As a result, I am moving away from the “diary” format. I look forward to starting fresh and having the site be less about “me” and more about “we”. I find that as I am aging evolving in my 40s, I’m craving less and less of the spotlight.  Enough about me already!

Don’t worry — I’ll still share my quirky thoughts, hopes, dreams, and outlook on life with you. It’s just that this time around it will be more akin to all of us lounging around the table whilst sipping our coffees, teas, pomegranate martinis (insert your favorite beverage of choice here) and chatting about life vs. me standing up at the table and entertaining you with my latest and greatest monologue about what I did yesterday. Make sense?

I’m sure I’ll continue to sneak in a monologue every now and then for kicks. You can take the girl out of the theater, but you’ll never take the theatre out of the girl.

I am really excited about our upcoming conversations. Please make sure to share your thoughts in the comments sections and the facebook page.  Consider those our Late Bloomer Revolution forum for now. I’m sure we’ll have some sort of secret forum/posse/club at some point in the future.

Speaking of the future…

I thought it might take a bit longer to build, but The Late Bloomer Revolution online shop is open! Please take a lookie-loo around there on Wednesday. I am unveiling my brand new eBook, The Late Bloomer’s Almanac: Cultivating mind, body and soul throughout the year.

Further down the line, look for juicy eCourses, more books, and who-knows-what-else after that. I’m a big latte mug and baseball cup aficionado. I think this fabulous new Late Bloomer Revolution logo begs to be plastered on a mug and a baseball cap one of these days, don’t you?

Thank you again for following Diary of a Late Bloomer. I am beyond grateful for your support.

If you are already a Diary of a Late Bloomer email subscriber, you are automatically subscribed to The Late Bloomer Revolution. You do not need to sign up anywhere on the new website.

You will notice a “My Gift to You” subscription box on the new site.  If you are already a subscriber, you will be receiving your gift in a separate email from The Late Bloomer

If you don’t subscribe by email yet, then please sign up over at the new site on Wednesday to receive your free giftie. Enjoy!

Yours in Bloominess,

P.S. We’re having a Cyber-Open House Party on facebook this Wednesday. You can stop by online at any time. RSVP over here.

This Website is Moving… Next Week!

Dear Friends,

It’s here. My new cyber-home, The Late Bloomer Revolution, is almost ready. We are currently conducting our final inspections, and we’ll be moving in next Wednesday, February 5th.

You are going to love the new site. I think it’s the most beautiful website in the cyber-world, but I realize that I am a wee bit biased. You will have to tell me what you think.

I cordially invite you to a cyber-housewarming party next Wednesday. Stop by and say hello at the site anytime. There’s even a free giftie waiting for you! I can’t wait to give it to you! I’m like a little kid with these types of things.

In other news, I wrote a book. Leave it to me to launch a website and an interactive eBook at the same time. Do not try this at home. Unless you have a penchant for extreme seclusion. But it was only for a season, my friends. We can do anything for a season, right?

Ladies and the few gents who like to stop by every now and then, I present to you…

The Late Bloomer's Almanac

In The Late Bloomer’s Almanac, we will continually cultivate our inner gardens. Late Bloomers are a brave, fearless lot. It takes a lot of hutzpah to live out our dreams when those monumental party poopers — society and inner critics — tell us that “it’s too late”, “you’ve missed the boat”, or “you’re too old”. Hush! It’s our party and we’ll bloom late if we want to!

The Late Bloomer’s Almanac is a “bloom where you’re planted” type of book. In other words, you do not have to start in January. You start wherever you’re at, whether it’s February, May, August or November.

This 155 page interactive eBook is gorgeous, with full-color custom illustrations sprinkled throughout. Each month includes a soul-scintillating passage; a mini-adventure of the mind, body and/or soul; an editable journal; a playlist; an optional reading list; an authentic family recipe or smoothie recipe; and a surprise extra dash of soul-scintillation — all designed to hoist you out of ruts, routines, or self-defeating patterns so that you can get on with getting your bloom on.

The Late Bloomer’s Almanac will be available in The Late Bloomer Revolution’s shop next Wednesday. Yes, there is a shop! I can hardly believe that my dream has materialized. It’s been a little more than 4 months since I left my cushy corporate gig to follow my dream, and here it is!

See you next week! I will post one more reminder before next Wednesday. Also, if you’re not already connected at the facebook page, please do so here.

All the best,
